Excellent service and good. Especially like the oysters on the half shell. Fish & chips are very good. Waitress Noel and waiter Joe did a fantastic job.

We went for restaurant week and the advertised Restaurant Week Prix Fix menu. at $55 pp (I always go for the gin.) The menu was imaginative. Our appetizers were a lollipop lamb chop and tempura fired bean salad, entrees risotto all puttanesca and braise chicken, desert chocolate or lemon cake. All were delicious. I regret that the place was not filled; it deserves local clientele. I give 4 instead of 5 stars, because despite the advertised Prix Pix, they tacked on a 3% credit card charge. Who this day carried around $200 in cash? We are in a near cashless society, paying with our phones! Vendors when they FIX the price need to include the cost of doing business, whether credit card fees or the so-call "kitchen charge", and for the latter, pay the kitchen staff a fair wage.

went for restaurant week and the prix fix menu Choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert. Both the tempura green beans & lamb lollipop were delicious. Scallops and salad were very good as was the eggplant risotto with olives. Dessert was a large slice of either chocolate torte or honey cake. Both rich. It was a very busy night , and the handled it well. Good cocktails, too

3 course pre fix dinner 🥘. Large portions! Could not eat the 3rd course. We are regulars at Venus Seaside and I wish they would incorporate these dishes into the everyday menu.

The food was okay and ambience was pretty good; however, the server, despite being friendly and accommodating to our request to take a picture of our friend group, seemed “over it” and ready to leave for the day. When welcoming us, she made a statement about it being a “long day” and then continued making comments about “getting home to my kid,” “needing a drink,” etc. It really felt like she was rushing us out of there. A note about the food - we all ordered something different and mostly liked it, but the ceviche could have used chips or a tostada to go with it, it was otherwise like eating a bowl of cold fish salsa. Tasty for what it was, but lacking. Anyway, the drinks were good and we had a good time hanging out!

Our normal server was working a 22 top so we had someone new. We had to ask to order dinner. We had to ask for dessert menus. We essentially had to ask for a lot of things instead of the server asking us these questions. This is a favorite spot of ours for business events and the food, ambience and location are always great! The service could have been better to be honest. I was a little disappointed. She was nice though just could have done better.

Wonderful! We had the wedge salad, 1/2 dozen oysters as appetizers both were great. Oysters were small but flavorful. Then we had the Venus burger and the Miso glazed salmon. Burger was cooked to perfection - medium rare - and the salmon was great as well. The miso sauce was more a ketjap manis sauce (sweet soy sauce) instead of miso, but it was still great. We had the rosé and 2 cocktails - one gin cocktail and the new mezcal cocktail. Both weee really enjoyable. We were seated in on of their booth’ - Overall a great experience. We will be back! Love their gin - bought a bottle of it!
