Restaurants in Staffordshire Moorlands

Brilliant! we were recommended by our son, and we were not disappointed. We were made welcome right from the start and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous menu, with the shepherds pie an outstanding winner. I was fascinated watching all the staff with their distinctive clothing showing what their duties are. The girl who brought the food from the kitchen was amazing carrying a huge tray on her shoulder, right down to the bar staff creating cock tails, everyone was busy all the time working in a happy, pleasant atmosphere. It was our first anniversary and when the staff found out we were given a lovely chocolate desert with happy anniversary on it. Beautiful decor, lovely staff, heavenly food. Worth every penny. It was pouring down when we left and unfortunately there were no umbrellas left. What a lovely idea though. Well done ,we will be be back when next visiting Nottingham.

Amazing experience, loved every morsel of food! The card for my guest was a lovely touch. Everyone knew their job and made the day very special

Best pub meal I think I may ever had. Everything was flawless. We were in the area for a couple of days for Alton Towers, but this was our favourite part of the whole trip. Cannot recommend enough!

Superb food, service and atmosphere. Reminds me very much of eating at great restaurants in Rome, it's the authentic Italian experience. Highly recommended!
