Everything was wonderful from beginning to end! Our server, Eric, was extremely attentive and personal. Our food was delicious and made exactly as ordered. Great ambiance, great experience!

We visited on a Monday night in October at 6 pm so noise level was a very comfortable level. We started with a dry martini, bourbon on the rocks and a flight of Mezcal. Bartender came tableside to pour the flight and chat about the Mezcal. Delish! Also delish was the filet dinner, the rare tuna entree and the shrimp tacos. (The two tacos were meant to be an app but were plenty as a main). Server offered to add another taco to ‘beef it up to entree portion’ (thank you for offering Kyle) but it was perfect as is. We had a great night with fabulous meals. I’d definitely go back next time we’re in Utica.

This was our 2nd time at Rocky’s On The Lake. Our reservation was for 5:30. We arrived early and had planned on sitting at the bar to have a drink before our table was ready. It was not busy so, we were seated immediately. Our server, Kristen D., greeted us right away. She filled us in on the changes to the menu, the specials, etc. She told us that they like to change it up a bit depending on the season and to keep it interesting. We knew we wanted to try the Prime Rib because it is only served on Saturday and we heard it was delicious. So, when she returned we ordered our appetizer which was Calamari, and very Yummy!, and ordered our Prime Rib dinners. Our food was served super quick! Everything was perfect, delicious, and exactly as we ordered. Kristen is wonderful waitress and does her job well! She checked on us constantly all through and was super friendly and accommodating. When we asked for bread (apparently it doesn’t come with) she told us that she would put that order right in. A nice young man brought it out, hot and fresh, and pleasantly asked if we needed anything else. We asked if we could have butter and again he brought it out (delicious garlic butter that was soft and not hard!) and again pleasantly asked if there was anything else he could get us. He was very kind and deserves praise, along with Kristen. If you are looking for the best cocktail ever, you must try the Sweater Weather Mule! Absolutely delicious! It may be seasonal, though. Despite all the negative reviews we have recently seen, we had a great time, wonderful dinner, and have nothing negative to say… except maybe bread should be served with dinner and also water😊 Give Rocky’s On The Lake a try! You will not be disappointed!!

Friendly service, and prompt. Food selection for the brunch on Sunday is wide enough everyone to find something. All the food tasted great.
