As you enter, you cross a traditional wooden Chinese bridge which overlooks a Koi fish pond in the peaceful courtyard. This mother–daughter run dim sum cocktail bar is based in the heart of Mare Street. The authentic flavours are down to generations-old family recipes that head chef, Lily, grew up making and eating in Beijing. Guests can enjoy handcrafted dim sum and small plates, such as dumplings, smashed cucumber salad, Sichuan bang bang chicken, and xiao mantou (steamed then fried buns dipped in sweet condensed milk). Traditional food is paired with Chinese-inspired cocktails and draft beer (Including Guinness!). They also have a large non-alcoholic menu including de-alcoholised wine, 'Three Spirits' (botanical elixirs designed to give you a buzz), and High & Dry (alcohol free lager with functional mushrooms).With family being at the heart of everything they do, it really feels like stepping into someone's well loved home.
Our chef Zhao is bringing his abundance of cooking experience and expertise to Meeting Noodles. He is a master of Cantonese cuisine and Sichuan cuisine. He has worked as an executive chef in many five-star hotels for many years in China and won a gold medal in the first China Hotel Service System Cooking Competition in 2005 and also won the title of "Top Ten Executive Chef" in the Northeast Region of China. Since relocating to London, Chef Zhao has involved in the reception and catering service to many high level Chinese officials during their visits to the UK.Relax in an air-conditioned dining room and enjoy our chef's signature dishes served by our friendly waiting staff at Meeting Noodles.
