Authentic, elegant true omakase experience in Sarasota where for under $1000 ( for two) one can save thousands on flight and lodging costs in Japan. They call it kaiseki and it is indeed artistic and quality of food and ingredients can be felt. Accompanying sauces are heavenly. Multiple course meal prepared “ live” by two chefs and engaging impeccable service by the sommelier/ hostess. Surprisingly, even sakes I could enjoy. Food/fishes top shelf and quality can br felt right away. Only minuses ( and I have to find minuses) were - the background music a touch to loud , Taisho’s ( chef’s) comments muted by it. I was surprised with the absence of proper ending of the meal with tea . Menu changes monthly but I can afford in only a couple times a year!

Was phenomenal. We arrived early and were able to take advantage of the happy hour. Amazing drinks and sushi. 

Kobe is my one of favorite “fancy dinner” places! The food is always amazing and the staff is always super fun and friendly! Last night we celebrated my birthday and I believe our chef was Ichigo…I might have spelled it wrong but he was incredible!

Understated and just superb. The early menu items are imaginative, delicious, and immensely reasonable. Angie is precious.
