Lovely visit with friends great food and service and we weren’t rushed out so made for a very pleasant afternoon

Always love coming to The Vintner, we have been coming for 30 plus years on and off and it is consistently good, excellent food and great staff and service every time, whats not to like!

Amazing Stunning setting , lovely food, brilliant service by all staff members. Polite and very attentive and all staff went above and beyond. The young man who served us our drinks, hats off to him for going up and down the stairs 100 times 😂🥰

Food was fantastic, so please dont think that I didn't give 5* it isn't worth the money. Everything about the place is so pleasant. The staff are absolutely amazing. Me and my partner have been twice now and they went above and beyond on short notice for a birthday. Will definitely be going again even though its a good 45 minute drive from Leicester. Thank you again for such a lovely evening

We had a table for two on a Friday night. The restaurant was fairly quiet but we had drinks in the lounge with canapés while we chose our menu. The restaurant rang earlier in the day to check dietary requirements which was useful as I don’t eat meat. They then modified the taster menu to take out the meat dishes. The food was incredibly good, they were just into their autumn menu and it was all tasty and well thought out. The Smokey trout in particular stood out. Our waitress was fantastic, she was from Spain and was lovely and friendly and extremely knowledgable about wine. We had a super meal and evening, it was a shame it was so quiet but this didn’t detract from our wonderful meal.
