There were 5 of us. We shared a pizza, creamy mushroom pasta, chicken pesto risotto, and rocket salad. Ample food. Top quality. All delicious. All of us loved everything.

My partner and I tried Cafe Del Mar Sydney for the first time, and while we were hoping for a sunset view over the water, it was pouring rain… however, the dinner didn’t disappoint. We started with glasses of Cab Sauv and the à la carte menu of tapas. The salmon tartare was the highlight of our dinner! Great flavors and super fresh fish. We followed that with the chorizo, potatoes, and wagyu beef skewers. Unfortunately our wagyu beef was overcooked, but the bites with the pesto and onion and pepper were nice. Overall ambiance was good; the service excellent, and it was a good dinner. We’ll be back for better weather and that sunset dinner!
