A favourite of Clapham Junction's Northcote Road since 1990 - an awfully long time in the London restaurant scene - Osteria Antica Bologna is as fresh and thrilling an Italian restaurant as the day it first opened its doors. It conjures up images of hidden away village osterias in the wild countryside of Emilia Romagna or the rolling hills of Tuscany, its cheerful welcome befitting of an old family favourite. Chef Marzio Zacchi passionately believes in using fresh, locally sourced and seasonal produce having grown up in Biella in the Piemonte countryside surrounded by a family who reared chickens, grew veg and cured their own salami. Pierluigi is our favourite local Italian restaurant. We always receive great service and good food. Our last trip in the week was no difference, exceptional service and delicious food. We felt looked after and well fed!

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and it did not dissapoint at all! I do not enjoy roasts at all but this has completely blown my mind! Every single item was so intentionally prepared and flavoursome, the oxtail was melting off the bone and I'm not sure how they made the jerk chicken so succulent but hats off. For starters we had the saltfish spring roll, roti and plantain - genuinely phenomenal, all the flavour and none of the pretentiousness. & dont get me started on the STP!!!! only thing it was missing was a bit more cream otherwise it is also the best I've had and I take STP ratings very seriously and lastly the customer service was brilliant, all so kind and accommodating - even gave us free champagne as a celebration drink. love love love

We all had bugers they was delicious such excellent value 2 for £14.99 Such big portions I couldn’t finish mine. Tha bar girls are super friendly.
