High quality dishes presented in a very interesting format: share or have your own; decide to lean towards appetizer / tapas size or give into a full entree. Remember to add on shareables as each dish comes only with what is described. This seems to be a place that works well for picky eaters as well as those who like to try everything. Each dish has a distinct taste, and the recipes use a nice assortment of herbs for their character. Do not miss the donut hole stuffed with dungeness crab.

We really enjoyed our meal at Chez Noir. The staff was excellent. They took our coats upon arrival and were great about checking in on us. They gave us some great information about the dishes to help guidance our decisions. The cocktails and food were excellent, with the exception of the fish dish. The fish missed the mark. This was disappointing, considering the cost of the meal and the fact that it's a main course. Everything else was excellent. We loved the additional touches, like the light "snack" they gave us before our meal, the chocolate chip cookies we received before leaving, as well as Caneles right after our meal.

We brought a friend for dinner and had an amazing time, Got to the restaurant at 5PM for the Champagne Sabering and to celebrate Champagne Day! We stayed all night! We had so much fun. The band was great. The food and the service were both outstanding. We loved the wild boar pasta, the beef tartare, the mussels,..... everything was fantastic. Highly recommend.
