The name “Ichoume” comes from the address of this street. Ichoume is located on ‘1’ Harbour Street, Darling Quarter. That’s why we named the restaurant “Ichoume” (Choume is used for addresses in Japan. It's a way of breaking a municipality into districts. 丁目(Choume) is ‘city district’, so ‘1 choume’(Ichoume) is ‘1st [city] district’).The design concept of the restaurant is a hangout for adults. The menu is supervised by AKIKO ISHIKAWA, who has accumulated her career in many restaurants. The head chef is TOMOHIKO KIMURA . He specialises in Japanese - based cuisine with French techniques and flavours. SHINSUKE TODA is recognised among the best sushi chefs now working and is credited with techniques utilised in contemporary sushi and sashimi preparation.Hope you enjoy what we’ve made for you.Owner ARI K. & YUKI ISHIKAWA

Tucked away in Pyrmont, Ferrara Pasta Bar is a tiny, intimate pasta bar that feels more like stepping into Nonna’s kitchen than a traditional restaurant. With a small open kitchen and cosy bar seating, you’re right in the action as pasta comes together and glasses clink. It’s rustic, relaxed, a little bit loud, and full of charm. The menu is all about simple, honest Italian cooking, comforting bowls of pasta, rich slow-cooked sauces, and seasonal dishes made to be shared. Everything is prepared in small batches, just like it would be at home, so some favourites may disappear as the night goes on. (We know… heartbreaking if you had your heart set on the lasagna). Our advice? Come early, order your must-haves, and settle in!Whether it’s a quick midweek pasta fix or a long, wine-filled evening, Ferrara is your cosy little escape, made for long, lingering evenings.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Koromo by Jazushi! The $95 chef’s set menu was creative and beautifully presented, blending Japanese fine dining with a relaxed izakaya atmosphere. The flaming quail egg was such a fun surprise, and the extra-long tempura was a standout! A great spot for date night or a special dinner in Pyrmont. Highly recommend!
