Before there was a hotel, there was a saloon. In 1852, thousands of thirsty prospectors filled their glasses at the original Golden Gate Saloon. After Grass Valley was destroyed by a fire in 1855, the owners quickly adapted and sold whiskey and beer to loyal customers from a tent among the rubble the next day.     This was an amazing experience. It was my sister's birthday and we all had a great time. The staff was friendly and very attentive with the bottomless mimosa. We are going back again for sure.

    One of our favorite restaurants. The food and drinks are always delicious. The service was excellent. We noticed the price escalation on the menu from our previous visit. But the food was very good and plentiful, so it compensated for the increase. Will come back again.
